Out of this World

Stillness.
Among the chaos we are living in, there is beauty if we look for it. It is there. We should be and feel grateful, and begin to look for that beauty everywhere. It is within nature where the world stops. And the gratitude I feel for being alone with nature fill my heart. It is through the stillness I remember that with my eyes I can see the world. A beautiful world.

Solitude.
A moment of solitude, a lonely silence, but a beautiful sight. Sometimes you just need to open those eyes and you’ll see that beauty… that extraordinary beauty… that isn’t easily seen and so often gets overlooked.

Serenity.
They may come at the end of the day, when the last rays have gone out and darkness rises. But the clouds passes. We survive after all, our sensibilities remain almost intact. Madness pecks us from time to time. The unseen bird from unknown lands. It pecks mostly at the foot of the trunk, never ascending high enough for us to take note. Maybe we avoid looking at it after all, we, who are not even sure that such a bird can exist, and even if it did, we are surely not worthy to look on it. And so we stand, breathe and close our eyes. We forget, we remember, we forget.

Silence.
A moment like this. Everything that surrounds me is harmony, as is my soul. A moment away from the madness of the course of the day, where everything is silence. Silence, how can you be so loud? I hear you, and I think to myself, you are my favourite sound.
